Reveuse

2 days ago, she puked at least 10 times within less than 24 hours. My fiance and I were freaking out. We tried feeding her some wet food, which usually she goes crazy for, but she threw it up in less than 20 minutes. 

We took her to the vet the next morning. Turns out she had eaten string/thread, and it was tied and stuck under her tongue, and all the way in her intestines. We were a bit short on money, and we couldn’t afford much, to our great sadness. 

They attempted to remove the thread from her disgestive tube, and it looks like they succeeded. They had to put her under anesthesia because she was in too much pain. She was also anemic and had high blood pressure. It could have been deadly if we didn’t take her as soon as we did. She needs to take this sort of laxative paste that’ll help her digest/poop the rest of the string in her bowels. 

We were told to watch her closely for the next 24 hours. So far, she hasn’t thrown up again. All up until this morning, she was a bit lethargic due to all the drugs, but definitely more responsive than on Sunday, when she kept puking. This morning, she was definitely more active, running around, and even biting me when I tried to give her her medicine.  

But see, the whole thing itself cost around $600. We didn’t have that money on hand. But fortunately, my fiance had one of his friends lend him $600 cash on the spot, and other friends have also paypaled him money. All thanks to Facebook. If it hadn’t been for it, I don’t know what would have happened… I’m just very thankful.

She went from being stoned out of her mind last night, to fully active and being back to normal tonight. I am so glad.
